Barco Solaris LC40

The Barco Solaris LC40 is a 40” LCD screen featuring an
elegant design, superior image quality, and extended
functionality. The Solaris can be used for either smaller
control room applications, as monitor replacement products,
or in combination with large–screen solutions. An optional PC
can be discreetly stowed inside the display cabinet for optimal
stand–alone display.

resolution.
Loop–through & network capabilities
The Solaris LC40 can be used as a stand–alone display or as
part of a network of displays. Ideal as information display
system on an exhibition booth or as part of a network of
displays in a retail shop or visitor center, the Solaris LC40 can
be equipped with fully functional PC, as well as content
management and scheduling software, enabling you to display
the right message, at the right time, at the right place.
Control & diagnostics
With extensive control and diagnostic functions, the Solaris
LC40 display and its content can easily be controlled – both
on–site in real–time or off–site, at the touch of a button.
Rotator option and flexible mounting options
By means of the optional rotator module, the Solaris LC40’s
content can be rotated – in real time – by 90 degrees. This
feature supports presentations in portrait mode, which is
especially useful in displaying animated, compressed video
formats. No more reformatting and complicated adjustment of
settings is necessary during the content production process to
match presentations in portrait mode.
The ultimate flexible display solution
Barco’s Solaris LC40 is the ideal presentation and information
display system for rental or digital signage applications. Fully
modular and customizable in both look and feel as well as

offers an optional safety mechanism to help protect your
Solaris LC40.
Optional Audio
The Solaris LC40 allows for an optional audio input module and
speakers to be connected to the display for a complete audio–
visual experience.
Optional mounting devices
A variety of mounting devices are available in conjunction with
the Solaris LC40 display, allowing it to be wall or ceiling
mounted, tilted or mounted back–to–back. Again, flexibility in
use is key.
Customizable front cover
Adapt the look and feel of your LCD to suit the design of your
location. Optional extras include the possibility to order colors
and patterns to suit your needs.

eight different computer and video sources ranging from
1280 x 1024 computer graphics to composite signals in a
smooth and seamless dissolve, freeze, cut, or wipe. ScreenPro
supportsthree video outputs – Main, Program, and Preview.
The presentation viewed by the audience is provided via the
main output. Image adjustments of size, position, contrast,
brightness, color balance, and transition types are viewed on
the Program output. The Preview output allows the operator to
examine the next source to be displayed. This is the next
AVFG step in handling your complex multiple video
applications.
