Hoffman
Itasca Studio
Hoffman’s
studio lights have been burning brightly lately, with our busiest quarter of satellite
uplinks and in-studio productions behind us. Clients appreciate our studio’s
location on the northwest side of downtown Minneapolis, as well as the easy street-level
parking. The studio’s size allows for great flexibility for almost any type
of production, from panel discussions to new product demonstration launches, to
role-playing training videos.
Our
Itasca space includes a 35’ x 25’ studio; fiber connectivity; a green
screen wall; three cameras; separate control, lighting and video rooms; and a
green room/waiting area. While we pride ourselves on our equipment and the people
who operate them, we are firmly grounded in reality. One client recently told
us, “We loved our in-studio experience with Hoffman, especially the croissants
and coffee you provided at the top of the day!” Yes, well…always good
to keep things in perspective.
Where
in the World is Hoffman? Answer: Home Turf
Jet-setting
to different meetings and event locations around the world is one of Hoffman’s
favorite hobbies. However, we don’t forget the importance of making our
mark in our beloved Twin Cities.
First
stop on the tour is Eden Prairie, home of our purple and gold Minnesota Vikings.
Hoffman was the first to rig equipment in their football field house. Winter Park
never sounded so good!
The
St. Paul Riverfront Corporation hosts the Millard Fillmore dinner every year to
promote its projects and activities that continue to vitalize our state capitol.
Hoffman’s three screen Keynote presentation and staging was fit for a king,
or in this case, the mayor of St. Paul.
Finally,
noteworthy supporters of the University of Minnesota Pediatrics Foundation wined
and dined at The Depot in downtown Minneapolis. The twelfth annual Winefest raised
hundreds of thousands of dollars for children and families in need of medical
miracles.

up on your geography and stay tuned for Hoffman’s next tour!
Fundraising
Tool
The
Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) wanted a fundraising tool which would
effectively raise awareness of the organization, explain its mission and goals;
and increase its fundraising results.
The
organization turned to Hoffman’s Creative Services team to concept, script,
shoot, and edit a DVD which accomplished those goals
The
DVD was produced in time for “Calling All Angels,” a grassroots fundraising
event scheduled for the last weekend in April. More than 14 parties were held
across the state and more than 500 people viewed the DVD.
Since
then, the DVD has been shown at MOCA’s annual meeting, attended by 150 people,
including survivors, family members, friends, and members of the medical community.
It is being shown to health care professionals who participate in MOCA education
programs and health fairs.
“For
a long time, we have wanted a DVD to showcase all that MOCA does. When looking
for a company to produce it, we were impressed by the professionalism of Hoffman
Communications”, said Kathleen Gavin. “I knew they would do a great
job telling our story in a powerful way that would have an impact on the viewer,
whether it is a survivor who wants more information about our organization or
a corporation who is interested in partnership with us.”
And
the winner is…..
